below is a set of pictures and instructions on how to make this project at home! You and your kids will be sure to enjoy this one! Have fun with this. There are many many ways to do this which I will show you below.

you will need:
The top of a CD case or a strong, but flexible plastic sheet

A shallow cardboard box

A short length of LED light strips

some clay or silly putty

instructions:
1. Cut your LED light strip to fit around the length of your cardboard box.
2. Place your silly patty or clay inside the back of your box so that it is lined up with the bottom and the back of your box. The best way to do this is to roll it into a small cylinder, the length of your box.
3. Place your phone on top of the cardboard box so that your screen is facing up.
4. Search hologram ready videos on YouTube.5
5. Push your plastic or CD case into the putty or clay that you placed at the back of the box earlier.
6. Tilt your plastic or CD case at a 45° angle or until you see the hologram start to appear or the reflection on your smart phone.
method 2:
this is a much simpler method. However, you can choose to include the lights, or not to include the lights. The choice is up to you. This method is a lot quicker than the one shown above.
instructions:
1. Grab a flexible piece of plastic that is transparent, such as a transparent plastic sheet.
2. If you can, slide the thin plastic sheet into the slot where your phone case meets your phone, or you can also try tapping it to the phone case itself. If you do this, you may have to fold the plastic downward until you get the desired angle for the hologram to reflect off of.
3. Place your smart phone on top of the cardboard box with the LED light strips that is shown above. Do this only if desired. This is an extra effect to enhance your experience.
